As CEO of Paws for Champagne LLC, and owner of Doggee Style Grooming, Doggee Style Dental, and Doggee Style Pet Hotel, I am a certified professional pet stylist and non-anesthetic canine dental hygienist with extensive entrepreneurial experience.  I am also a mother of two, Siena and Jayden. 

My passion for animal welfare began in childhood, when my mother purchased our first dog, a Shih Tzu, Kiwi, initiating a lifelong commitment to canine care that included AKC-compliant breeding and my early involvement in bathing and grooming. As with many pet industry experts, my career began early on at age 15 working in the small animal department of PetSmart.  This role provided extensive experience in the care of fish, birds, reptiles, rodents, and canines. Subsequent veterinary technician assistant positions at three different veterinary hospitals followed my veterinary studies. However, recognizing that the medical field wasn't ideally suited to my lifestyle, I pursued grooming school, where canine care proved to be a perfect fit.  My home-based grooming business, operating from my childhood home's garage, experienced rapid growth. With 12 years of experience, I am proud to retain a significant portion of my original clientele.  

As a groomer, I've developed extensive expertise in canine care, encompassing styling, anatomy, behavior, and various diseases and conditions.  Many clients sought my advice on health concerns, including skin care and dental health, before consulting their veterinarians.  I consistently emphasized the critical importance of dental hygiene to prevent future health issues stemming from periodontal disease.  Upon Merryfield Academy's outreach regarding their innovative non-anesthetic canine teeth scaling program, I was thrilled to advance my career and provide my extensive clientele with the services I had long recommended. 

Paws for Champagne LLC, offers comprehensive health spa and pet-sitting services, exceeding the capabilities of a typical grooming salon. We focus on holistic canine well-being, incorporating top-tier hygiene practices to promote healthy, stress-free environment.  We are strong proponents of natural dog supplements, including CBD oil, which we sometimes offer for sale in limited quantities.  As a holistic health spa and pet sitting service, we cater to the diverse needs of dog owners, exceeding the standards of a typical grooming salon by offering a complete wellness experience which also decreases the need for additional veterinary visits.
